Growing up, my mom would always find a stack of the most uninspiring Christmas cards around this time of the year, makes us all sit and write on them, so she can send or give them out closer to the holidays. What with old fashioned pictures and swirly typography, I disliked the cards even more than the task of writing Merry Christmas dozens of times every year.
Now seeing those vintage envelopes on Etsy, I am feeling almost nostalgic. Plus, those vintage envelopes would make such a great pouches for the massive collection of not-so-lame greeting cards out there.
