Karl Lagerfield thinks other Chanel movies rubbish, makes his own

Karl Lagerfield, the ultimate meglomaniac in fashion, decides to release his own 10 minute silent film on the life of Coco Chanel on Dec 3 after learning more Chanel features will be released between 2008-2009.  Most of the actors in the film are plucked from Lagerfield’s entourage or the Chanel house. 

From the film stills released, Chanel appears surly and stark, with dark lipsticks, black rimmed eyes, bushy eyebrows and long long necklaces that remind me of the Coco Mademoiselle ad with Keira Knightley a while back.
