Make your own vintage Miss Little Sunshine VW Bus

Loved Miss Little Sunshine, and that ubiquitous VW Microbus that breaks down, so everyone had to push and jump in.  Who can forget the memorable road trip that takes place inside the Bus, where Richard loses his contract that would have jump-started his motivational business; Frank encounters the ex-boyfriend who, in leaving him for an academic rival (oh Proust), had prompted his suicide attempt;  Edwin dies from a heroin overdose, resulting in the family smuggling the body out of a hospital because of administrative redtape; and Dwayne discovers that he is color blind, which means he cannot become a pilot.  Oh joy.

And how about that climax once the clan finally arrives at the beauty pageant?  As Olive’s turn to perform draws near, Sheryl utters the poetic “let Olive be Olive”, and Olive goes on stage, and Olive proceeded to perform Rick James’ song “Super Freak”.  The family joins Olive, and the crowd goes wild.
