More uses for old car parts: Retro art

December 22, 2008

Yesterday I posted about possible new markets that redundant car manufacturers can explore.  That is, markets that could potential turn a profit.

Apparently, I’m not the only one thinking about industry diversification.  A designer has decided to make art out of recycled car parts.  Because cars are not just made for driving.  Once they cease to move people around from point A to point B, they hit the recyling pit, and inspires art.  Think of thousands upon thousands tons of steel and aluminum that can move from the garage to the living room after some welding.  Another reason to sustain the carmakers.  Ingenius.
