Polaroid goes bankrupt, downloadable replacement available

December 18, 2008

Polaroid Corp has filed for bankruptcy.  That’s probably inevitable, with digital cameras and everything.  But Polaroid cameras were never marketed properly.  Something so old and charming should never go head to head with the digital age in big box stores, but as collector’s item in independent gift and toy shops.

So how do we make vintage polaroids now?   Apparently there’s an application out there that turns digital pictures into vintage polaroids.  Check out the flickr group for some pictures made from the application.
